One of the bigger and livelier of the many pubs in Otley, the Rose and Crown is well located in the heart of the town, and is usually one of the busiest pubs in the place.
I went during pub quiz night and had a fairly good night on that occasion - there was a good atmosphere about the place and plenty of old-fashioned banter flying around.
I've also been on a weekend, on which occasion I found it less impressive due to the DJ (I just don't think a pub should have a DJ). Nothing to shout about in terms of booze (the usual selection, well priced) but the best thing about the place is that it stays open later than any of the other pubs in Otley, so a lot of people finish their night here. -

The rose and crown is a busy pub in the centre of Otley. It is usually busy, they have a quiz night during the week and it stays open till about 12.00am at the weekend, so it is were everyone goes after the pubs have closed. They usually have a dj on at the weekend. They also have a large range of pub food throughout the whole week.

Was a great pub but the food quality has slipped. Veg and potatoes tend to be overcooked, some stuff over cooked and is very pricey.
Daft as this may sound you actually get way too much food and this can be off putting. Pub itself is lovely, though in desperate need of a face lift.
Avoid Friday/Saturday nights, full of under age teenyboppers.
